WELL MONITORING & INSTALLATION UPDATE
BGwT Meeting: June 5, 2006

WELL MONITORING

The BGwT’s latest set of interim readings are indicated below. There are currently 669 wells in the BGwT’s network. Of those 669 wells, 432 wells were read between May 22 - June 2, 2006.
Of the 432 wells read:

• 113 Wells @ elevation >7’
• 184 wells @ elevation 5’- 7’
• 109 wells @ elevation 3’-5’
• 14 wells @ elevation <3’
• 12 wells @ no reading

LEVELLOGGERS

Data that was collected from Group 2 wells from March 8 - May 22, 2006 will be sent to the webmaster to be posted.

The loggers will be removed from Group 2 well locations and will be placed into Group 3 well locations at the end of this week. Data will be uploaded from these well locations beginning the week of August 7, 2006.

Groups are created from the evaluation of data by the BGwT Technical Committee.

INSTALLATIONS

• 180 Contract resumed on 4/26/06.
• 38 of the 137 remaining wells have been installed as 6/5/06.
• Installations began in the North End and Fanuiel Hall areas. We are currently installing wells in East Boston.
