Technical Coordinator Report #21

Hello everyone.
The following summarizes our work from 1 November - 22 November 2004.

• Installed 46 observation wells. Incorporated 13 out of the 46 BGwT installed o.w.’s into the network. Will incorporate the remaining 33 o.w.’s by week ending 3 December 2004.
• Flushed/rejuvenated 4 existing o.w.’s in our network
• Initiated Winter ’04 readings on 10 November 2004. Will complete Winter ’04 readings by 24 November 2004.
• Incorporated 13 new o.w.’s in the Lower Beacon Hill, Storrow Drive, and Hatch Shell area into the network.
• Met with Eleanor Duffy of the MWRA and BGwT Executive Director Elliott Laffer to coordinate the incorporation of 10 new o.w.’s at MWRA site on Union Park into the network.
• Scheduled interviews for Winter ’05 co-op.
• Continued work on Bid document for the EPA program of wells to be installed in the Spring/Summer 2005.
• Continued to work on alternate solutions for groundwater recharge.
