TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE
The Trust has a Volunteer Technical Advisory Committee that is comprised of knowledgeable local civil and geotechnical engineers, as well as skilled hydrogeologists. This dedicated committee meets as needed with the Trust staff to discuss groundwater issues. During these meetings, they examine well data, make informed recommendations for effectively addressing areas with low groundwater levels, and carefully evaluate the potential impacts that new construction projects may have on the surrounding groundwater conditions. The Trust staff relies on the committee members’ expertise in the fields of subsurface exploration and construction to gain a more comprehensive understanding of groundwater levels and the potential impacts of subsurface infrastructure on those groundwater levels. The ongoing efforts of the committee are important to the continued work of the Trust and its mission.
